Michael
Chapman
Associate - Land Sales

Experience
Prior to joining Commonwealth Land, Michael worked as a fly fishing outfitter in Wyoming, where he developed a strong appreciation for land and the outdoors. Before that, he was involved in the maintenance and management of a 1,300+ acre plantation, gaining hands-on experience with large acreage properties.
These experiences, combined with his work in land brokerage, have given Michael a well-rounded understanding of both the recreational and development potential of land. He works closely with landowners, developers, and investors to evaluate opportunities, navigate positioning, and maximize value across a wide range of property types.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and exploring the landscapes that make Virginia unique.
